The OVAL (Our Vision for Asian Leadership) JAPAN Panel Discussion was held on March 7, 2019 in Toranomon Hills, Tokyo, Japan. DSG YAMAMOTO Yasushi from the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) was invited as a discussant, on “The Current Agenda of East Asia”, by reflecting through the changes in the three countries since 1999. Along with DSG YAMAMOTO, president of Genron NPO, Mr. KUDOU Yasushi, and two students from the OVAL JAPAN discussed the topic.
OVAL is a voluntary university student network, comprised of students from China, Japan, and the ROK, creating platforms for students to output ideas on East Asian cooperation, with the goal of becoming the next global-minded leaders. OVAL JAPAN was established in 1999, and has been conducting student-led business contests and exchange programs to expand their capacity.
